CalExtract ("we", "our", or "the app") is designed to help you convert photos of appointment cards and flyers into calendar events. We take your privacy seriously and are committed to protecting your data.
Photos you upload: When you take or select a photo, it is temporarily uploaded to our secure servers for processing.
We do NOT collect:
Photos are processed by AI to extract event details (date, time, location, description). The extracted text is returned to your device so you can add it to your calendar.
Photos are automatically deleted from our servers within 24 hours.
We do not store, share, or sell your photos or any extracted information. Once processing is complete, the data exists only on your device.

CalExtract requests write-only access to your calendar to add events. We cannot read, modify, or delete your existing calendar events.
Camera access is used solely to capture photos of cards and flyers. Photos are processed as described above and are not used for any other purpose.
All data transmission is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS. Photos are stored in secure, access-controlled cloud storage during processing.
CalExtract does not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
